At Foto Trendz we are busy photographing communions. Spring is here and spring is the season for all young catholic children usually when they are in grade 2 (7 or 8 years of age) to receive their first communion. This is when they receive the host for the first time. The host is a little wafer made from unleavened dough. It symbolizes the bread that Jesus shared with his apostles on Good Friday. It also symbolizes the body of Christ.
