Here I am at the PPOC National convention at Mont Tremblant, Quebec. Two days of Board meetings followed by a trade show and very informative speakers. This is a great opportunity what is new and exciting in photography. So far we had 3 great speakers and tomorrow the speaker line up is just as exciting. The weather is a bit cool and there is snow forecasted for overnight. Its too bad it won’t be enough to ski.
The village of Mont Tremblant is very picturesque, however at this time of the year not very exciting. Most of the winter tourists have gone home and the summer crowd won’t be here for maybe another 3 weeks. The prices have not reflected the low season and you still have to pay $30.00 for a hamburger and a beer. Coffee and a muffin $7:00. The important thing is that it is all worth it, because of all the knowledge acquired.
Below are some photos of the village.
